By submitting personal information to Autobid60 by conducting business with Autobid60 or by using Autobid60’s services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy statement and expressly consent to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Scope of Policy

The information provided in this Privacy Policy covers your interactions via the Autobid60 Network and Service including the features, applications, emails, content, downloads, products and services offered through the Autobid60 Network. Certain parts of the Autobid60 network may only be accessible to registered users and such access may be subject to additional terms and conditions.

Autobid60 Network is intended for use by an adult general audience. Autobid60’s Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 and Autobid60 does not knowingly solicit personal information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that anyone under the age of 13 has provided any personal information through our Network, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly delete it.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to other companies’ web sites or services or links that you may access via Autobid60’s Network. Information collected or received by these third parties is subject to third party privacy policies. If you are located outside Canada please note that personal information collected via Autobid60’s Networks Service may be transferred to the Canada and other countries which might not provide an equivalent level of protection as the data protection laws in your own country.

Information Collection, Usage and Disclosure

Our web server tracks and collects general information about your visit on our app and website. We collect these statistics to determine the number of daily visitors to our App and website, the daily requests for particular files, the types of browsers our visitors use, the visitors’ domain names, and countries of origin. This data helps us to customize our website to facilitate the on-line experience through enhanced navigation or to suggest areas in which we may improve the structure and content of the site. We may request and store the following types of specific information: your name, company name, street address, city, county, state, country, province, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, mobile location information (if you have activated a mobile application with us and permitted your mobile device to transmit location data or if you have signed up with Facebook or google) Your profile information will be used only while the App remains active on your phone and in use. We will not store your information once the App has been deleted from your mobile device as this will be deemed a request to terminate usage of our services. Some of the information collected by Autobid60 may be personal information. Autobid60’s mobile applications may also disclose certain permissions for certain device settings such as CAMERA, RECORD_AUDIO . The information we collect is used to improve the content and quality of Autobid60’s Network.

Autobid60 uses information that is collected for the following general purposes:

to assist with the collection of any amounts owing by you to Autobid60
to contact you in response to any transactions, requests, complaints or comments you may have;
to contact you to provide you with information regarding Autobid60 auctions or applications
to provide advertisements to you through our website, email messages, mobile applications or other methods of communication;
to administer surveys, contests or other promotional activities or events sponsored by us
to help us to develop, evaluate and improve our sales and marketing strategies and techniques;
to operate and improve our app and web site;
to provide third parties with information necessary to permit that third party to conduct business with Autobid60 and/or effectively provide you with services.
to respond to legal process and reasonable inquiries from regulatory and/or investigative authorities.

Information is not shared with or sold to others for commercial purposes, except to provide the products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law, regulation or governmental request.
We may share and/or transfer information in the event of a potential or actual acquisition of Autobid60 or its merger with another company.
Autobid60 may use agents and contractors in order to help operate the Autobid60 Network. Cookies

Cookies are required to use the Autobid60 Network. We use cookies to record current session information. We may, from time to time, use similar technologies, including web beacons, pixel tags, flash objects, location tracking and/or third party widgets for purposes of enhancing your web or mobile experience and/or for purposes of allowing you to share information on another platform, such as a social media platform. Information typically sent by your Web browser includes your IP address, your ISP provider, information about your operating system, information about your browser and information about your website(s) visit.

Messages, Statuses and Notifications

In order to provide the Services effectively, Autobid60 relies heavily on its ability to track vehicle auctions and their statuses throughout the process to keep buyers and sellers notified of these statuses as they occur via notifications or othermeathods. By registering with the Autobid60 Network and agreeing to our terms of service and Privacy Policy you agree to receive vehicle status updates and notifications via your Autobid60 mobile application, desktop computer and your provided email address. Autobid60 may not be able to turn off this functionality on a per user basis. Due to the complex technology behind dashboard messages and email notifications, Autobid60 cannot guarantee users will receive important information on the statuses of vehicles they are selling or buying. It is the responsibility of Autobid60 users to monitor the Network regularly and as needed to track their vehicle purchases and sales for important Auction status changes.

Aggregate Data and Tracking

From time to time, we may analyze browsing information and aggregate data for quality assurance, contextual advertising and other similar activities. We may also collect (and allow authorized third parties to collect) “targeted” cookies (persistent identifiers tracking users over time across different sites and services) for marketing purposes. Information about your online activities on this and other websites (e.g. pages viewed), may be used by Autobid60 and third parties such as advertising networks to select an advertisement to display on this Site or other websites for a product, service, or offer that matches your interests. In other words, we may engage in online behavioural or interest-based advertising. We do allow you to exercise choice regarding the collection and use of information by third parties for online behavioural advertising purposes by going to these sites to opt-out: Network Advertising Initiative (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/#) or Digital Advertising Alliance (http://youradchoices.ca/choices). Opting out means you will still receive online advertising but the advertising will not be tailored by the listed third-parties based on your online behaviour or usage. In addition, we do not currently respond to “Do Not Track (DNT)” browser signals.

Security

Autobid60 takes commercially reasonable technical, physical and administrative measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and security of your personally identifiable information. Of course, we cannot guarantee the security of your personally identifiable information on the Internet. The password-protected areas of the Autobid60 Network are secured by industry standard encryption. However, it is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password(s) and other user credentials. You are also required to log-in to your Autobid60 account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account.

Ownership

The Autobid60 Network and related content and materials are the property of Autobid60 or its licensors, and are protected under applicable intellectual property and other laws, including under the appropriate jurisdictions’ copyright and trademark laws, and international conventions. Except as explicitly provided by Autobid60, you may not transmit, display, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit the Autobid60 Network. Automated means, such as but not limited to scrapers or spiders, may not be used to collect and/or index any information contained on our sites. You may not (a) reproduce, (b) store a significant portion, (c) distribute copies of, (d) frame content of, or (e) incorporate into another website, materials or intellectual property from our sites or services without the prior written consent of Autobid60.

Storage

All personally identifiable information you provide to Autobid60 is secured on servers with restricted access. We reserve the right to use third party agents and service providers, who are bound by strict confidentiality guidelines, to perform storage and processing functions. We will store your personal information for as long as there is a business need for it in accordance with applicable record retention policies and a range of legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements.

Opt-Out, Changes and Questions

Autobid60 may periodically update this policy. Consequently, you should review the Policy periodically. We may also notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Autobid60 primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice via the Autobid60 Network. You should sign on to your account regularly for these and other important announcements.
